Jim Cornehlsen

Mr. James H. Cornehlsen is Managing Director of FutureSearch which is a consulting firm specializing in corporate professional training and e-learning. For the last twenty years, he has been a leader in the field of senior management searches, which include a focus on management effectiveness.

Mr. Cornehlsen's career consists of five years at General Electric, ten years at McGraw-Hill, and five years at CBS before becoming President of Las Americas, a Spanish-owned firm engaged in publishing and broadcasting in the U.S. In each of these companies, he held a variety of marketing and line management positions as well as specific responsibility for new media development for applying computer, telecommunications, and new technology to information and education. He has more than ten years of professional experience working overseas in Mexico, Spain, and Canada.

Mr. Cornehlsen received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Dartmouth College. He has served on the Board of the American Management Association Human Resource Advisory Council, Software Information Industry Association, the Software Publishers Association, and the International Association of Corporate and Professional Recruiters (IACPR). He is a frequent speaker on new media development, staffing for success in growth companies, and changing CEO leadership needs. He has been profiled in The Career Makers (Harper & Row) as one of America's top recruiters.
