Carlos Del Toro

Senior Advisor

Mr. Carlos Del Toro is President of SBG Technology Solutions Inc., an IT and Engineering Services and Consulting Company specializing in both commercial and government-wide contracting services. SBG assists companies to expand its market share through a wide variety of innovative services and products. For the last twenty-five years, Mr. Del Toro has served as a member of the United States Navy. His most recent assignment was in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Program Analysis and Evaluation.

Mr. Del Toro brings a wide variety of knowledge to the Genesys team as a "hands-on" savvy senior executive with experience in program management; "real-time" joint and service-specific military operations--strategy and policy; space policy and systems engineering--civilian and military; telecommunications; information technology; non- profit management; overall management and budget; legislative affairs; and media relations.

Mr. Del Toro's leadership and innovation was recognized by his selection as a White House Fellow and Special Assistant to the Director of the White House Office of Management and Budget. He has also been recognized through the following awards: The Ellis Island Medal of Freedom; Hispanic Business Magazine recognition as one of the 100 Most Influential Hispanics in the U.S.; The Hispanic National Achievement Engineer of the Year Award; and numerous other military campaign and personal awards.

Mr. Del Toro holds Master of Arts/Science degrees in Space Systems Engineering, National Security and Strategic Studies, and Legislative Affairs from the Naval Postgraduate School, the Naval War College, and George Washington University, respectively. He also holds a Bachelors of Science degree from the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis.
